30 Year Friendships

Well our daughter is still here and her college friends met at our house this morning for a 5 mile jog/walk. Our daughter is second from the left and her best friend is on the far right; they meet the first day as they were moving into the dorm at University of Oregon, but these four have remained close since graduating almost 30 years ago. Several of their children are in college together at the same University; it is fun to hear how these kids are crossing paths while on campus.  After the friends left, my daughter and I went to get pedicures, then we met one of her son's for lunch. (see extra) Tonight our oldest son brought Ellie over for a visit; Ellie made all of us smile often. It was a very nice day.
