Thank you card

When we got up this morning it was pouring with rain. 
After breakfast I texted my daughter to see if she wanted to pop up this afternoon for a cup of tea. The answer was yes. The rain had eased off so we walked down into Caversham to get some cakes   Costa coffee was very busy so we went and got some cakes and then came back. We managed to get a table outside under cover. While I was sitting there I was watching people going in and out of a bakery opposite and then I suddenly remembered that this bakery did lovely Lardy Cakes so after coffee we went over there.  Yes they had some. 
Daughter and family arrived just after 3pm. The girls Were playing hide and seek for a little while then they found some books and K read Mr Forgetful to us she is very good at reading.We had a our Lardy cake. It was lovely.

During the afternoon  we had sunshine.. 
 By 7pm it was raining again.
