Closed for the Winter

A return to the Helianthus (Sunflower) I bought at the start of August, perhaps for the last time this year.


I have really enjoyed this plant, and will have to find out what I should be doing now to protect and preserve it for the future.


I had not appreciated just how delicately the flowers close up once the petals have gone.  It has looked great for months; although I think that the show is over for this year.
