Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

I took The Eldest Mini Princess out to practise in the car today. It’s my first time out with her and it’s definitely a bit nerve wracking. Not because she was doing anything wrong but because it’s odd being hyper-vigilant and giving instruction but ultimately without having control.

But it went well. Learning to drive is hard but she didn’t panic even when she stalled at junctions which is great. And it’s all for a good cause - having my own personal taxi driver!

We also popped into the pet shop and I couldn’t resist buying the luxury dog advent calendar. It may only be October but what if there’s a rush and they sell out? Could you imagine how disappointed Murphy would be on 1st December?

PS This is Murphy, 10 minutes after receiving his new toy (a present from Bella). It had already been relieved of its nose and an ear. The other ear was about 30 seconds away from being chewed off. It’s like watching Animal Lector!
