The Salutation pub

A lovely, traditional boozer, first encountered as a student (and not just because of the ale, but also because we had some tutorials in there. Well... It *was * an art history degree) and still standing today. The only shame is, where once you could sit outside on a grassy knoll with your pint and crisps on a sunny day, the poor pub is now surrounded by towering blocks of student residences and other university buildings. It seems to say....Do what you will. I'm staying put. Long live the Salutation.
