The Art Studio...
...or my couch which is also my office, my crafty place, my day bed (occasionally!).
This is where I've been doing my #inktober drawings.
I had a very long chat with my sister Sue on the phone this morning. Once we get going we don't know when to stop!
We talk about all kinds of things, art (she is a brilliant artist), books and poetry, sewing, the state of the world, family trials and tribulations, and whatever else is topical.
It was a lovely sunny day today and I took Bella May for a trot to the post box and then round the housing estate where I bumped in to Beryl and Bill from the ukulele group coming out of their house. They're a lovely couple and we haven't seen them since before lockdown. We chatted for quite a while.
After lunch I cleaned the hallway which was really dusty and full of dog hairs; so the floor was mopped and the rug bunged in the washing machine. It made me feel better I hate it when the place is messy.
I spent the rest of the afternoon drawing my inktober entry.
Today's prompt was 'Radio' so I drew women in various settings listening to Radio 4 - obviously Woman's Hour.
Anyway, that's about it for today.
Going to watch a bit of telly.
Stay safe ;-)X
