Golden oldie

We visited Steigerts today. Lovely weather, great views over the Rhine valley and towards Frankfurt.
A lot of car owners did the same and one car caught my attention. Old and torn interior, engine and/or pipes leaking, dents and rust.
Okay, the car was approximately 50 years old and still driving, even uphill. The first series of the make was not so successful, I believe this one was from the 3rd series.
Wondering who knows what it is.
