Sole nominee

I was at church early today to welcome the sole nominee who was to preach. He is The Revd Sandy Forsyth and he was accompanied by his wife Joy.

If the congregation vote him as our new Minister those of us involved in seeking the successor can stand down.

Because of Covid-19 and the need to allow the congregation time to listen to/view the recorded service and submit their votes we will not know the result for some 9 days. However, that may be quicker than the US Presidential election results.

While waiting I took some shots of the stained glass windows. Moses looked particularly intense. The service was much more relaxed despite it being a significant event in the life of the congregation.
