Be very careful walking downstairs
One of the benefits of this semi-permanent incarceration is that Charlie, our timid and rather unassuming cat, has come out of her shell.
So much so, in fact, that she has taken to ambushing people as they walk downstairs. It's quite amazing really. She has a club foot, a birth defect, and you can hear her walking around the house - a feline Long John Silver: clump, clump clump. She is loud. Yet when she runs, she is as silent as the wind. Which helps, of course, when you are trying to ambush people.
It is a pity I don't know anyone who wears a toupée. It would almost be worth taking the COVID risk to see if Charlie could snatch it off their head as they walk downstairs.
