HPB Blore Hall

After nearly a week of weather frustration, boiler issues and general lethargy we headed to the peak district for our next week away with the Holiday Property Bond. It’s been fabulous to belong to this organisation this year and exactly how we envisaged using it after we retired. Especially this year where there have been lots of cancellations and we’ve been able to book them with notice of a couple of hours to 4 weeks. 
This week we are in Blore Hall near Dove Dale in the Peak District and although the weather is not looking good, I’m sure we will enjoy being holed up in another location. 
The WiFi here is dreadful and I’ve tried at least 10 times Over the past couple of days to upload my Blip without success, so there will most likely be time lags until I can find the best time of day to do this. Today’s blip is the Main Hall where, in non-Covid times, the bond holders weekly dinner is held. I can imagine it being a grand and lively affair, which is rarely the case due to the age demographic of most bond holders. We will just have to return in future years.
