Antique restored.

This brass tabletop has been in storage for the better part of 20 years and not polished for longer than that.
Spent time yesterday cleaning all the accumulated tarnish and gunge with a mixture of tartaric acid/liquid soap/warm water. Then applied good old Brasso with plenty of elbow grease, to achieve the final result. The wooden legs also received a good application of teak oil.

Finally, the table in situ  in our entrance hall.

I'm satisfied with the result.
