Drying out - Backblip

M has recently completed a dream of lovingly restoring an old Land Rover (Landy) which he and F arrived at the cottage in.  She, Landy, had her maiden voyage to Dartmoor a couple of weeks ago without a hitch.  Mr HB and I were hopeful of a ride in her but the weather is  even worse than yesterday so it wouldn't be very comfortable, or dry, in the back under the canvas roof!! As it was we did venture into Church Stretton in our car for a few supplies but managed to get soaked in the process so back to the cottage we went and lit the fire.  Sadly no walk in the Shropshire Hills for us today.

Thank goodness for good conversation, books, music and knitting.  We passed on the Scrabble, Pass the Pig and UNO.
