My constant companion today

Spent a couple of hours pruning lavender bushes while it was fine. The smell filled the garden which was welcome for the huge fire down at Avonmouth  in a scrap yard has spread  a pall of smoke for many miles around..  Tucked up in one bush there was a fair sized frog - it was obviously a great place to be for both him and the robin for there must have been plenty of nourishing bugs lurking in the dead foliage at the bottom of the plants.
