Some spreadsheets do work**

These two creations are the result of an amazing zoom class with Louise Mac Donald, a wonderful milliner in Australia. This encouraged me to create a spreadsheet calculating the number of ribbon segments needed for differing ribbon widths and diameters of hat blocks.

I tested in graph paper, then finally used some of my favourite petersham ribbon. And I’m pleased to report my outcome was as anticipated and I’ve demonstrated using the same ribbon. 14 segments for smallest beret, 16 for the larger.
