Wild Things

Beasties in the forest. These trees looked to me to be a bit menacing.  The one in the foreground looks like a swine of sorts, the eye near the top left of the frame, the roots like a snout.

Great book, but if you haven't seen the movie, you must!.. especially if you have wee ones in your life. I found it lovingly magical.
