Cast A Long Shadow

The light in (very) early spring in England is magical, if you're lucky enough to be there when the sun comes out.

I had an early walk around the village and park - out came the sun and everything looked sharp, clear and colourful - a photographer's dream. That meant I had maybe 50 images in the camera and liked quite a bunch of them.

This is my favourite though - the lime tree's shadow looks as substantial as the tree itself and I like how its branches reach so far across the grass - majestic!
