Another Nocturnal Visitor

No snow today but more evidence of covert nocturnal activity round the house. The crater was probably caused by Cyril the Squirrel looking for nuts that he had buried during the autumn from the chestnut trees opposite the house. Sadly I have heard that squirrels do not have great memories for where they do leave their buried nuts. This probably explains why we have to dig out a recurring chestnut sapling.

In any case Cyril probably left with a couple of bulbs which no doubt taste a bit like an onion.
