What's through the round window
In all my days I have never seen anything like this. Big circular section of the frontage of an abandoned building cut out of the main structure, that spins slowly on an interesting pivot device and then slots back into place with not much to tell apart from the big circle on the front of the building!

So yes, I have been to Liverpool tonight - bit of a mad dash to get there, fortunately Jaxter rang me whilst I was on the train as I hadn't taken her number with me! Dur.
Met up with fellow blippersMobilevirgin andDailyground , in the Head of Steam - Jax and I sat at a table right next to our comrades for about ten minutes before Peter leaned over and said "Are you from blipfoto?". That was a tad embarassing...but hey ho.
Lovely couple of hours mooching around Liverpool, being taught to jaywalk across the frankly quite wide and frightening streets and wandering around the waterfront taking shots of the Mersey and a lovely sunset across the water. However, when wandering down the back streets, Jaxter and I were shown this piece of industrial engineering gone quite beautifully bonkers ...we went to the top of a multistorey car park to get a good view. I was transfixed (yes - before anyone else says it - I know that I am easily pleased!)
SO...
thank you to all three of you - it was a lovely evening, and gave me an interesting insight into a city I thought I knew reasonably well, but I know realise I have much to learn. And you took my mind off argumentative kids for a while, which was an added bonus.
Cheers
