WHACKO........

..... of the hundreds of bird shots I have until today been short of one of these wonders of nature. 

Went down to a new area along the mighty Hawkesbury River, and on the way out with not having found much just spotted this wonderful Tawny Frogmouth. I mean only its Mum could love it as the saying goes, but, today I love it as well.

As you can see they blend in so well to their surrounds and it was quite overcast and dull so just meant to be.
