Nutkin

Over recent days Nutkin has been causing chaos to our outdoor shelves with containers of bird food as he tries and succeeds in opening them. So now we have resigned, bought him some special nut food and given him his own bowl. He seems happy.

In the extra, me not happy! Local "disposal" company who do some good work with organic waste matter (trees, shrubs, garden waste) have also built up a profitable line in disposing of dairy companies over-production. They get the pallets of plastic & glass joghurt pots and turn them into firstly bio-gas/electricity but then have masses of spent "liquid" that they spread out on the fields as fertiliser.

The question is why over-production destroyed and exactly what is in the slurry - glass & plastic particles? I videoed the maize field after it had been "flooded" with the brown brew. Never seen anything like it. Truly flooded.
