Bassenthwaite - tick

I finally got to swim in Bassenthwaite and it did not disappoint. I think it helped having gloves and socks on (neoprene). I swam better and didn't feel as cold. I swam half a mile!
It was beautiful driving to and from the Lakes, the sun was shining on the autumn hills - smashing.
The photo is me about to set off with my wetsuit half on, the cat is looking at me from the chair thinking "as long as this nutter feeds me later she can do what she likes".
