It’s come back!

Two years ago a two hundred year old beech tree near our gate had to be cut down because it was attacked by a giant fungus and it was in danger of falling. Now the fungus has returned to attack the remaining tree stump. It can’t do much harm any more and it is quite impressive.
Tuesday is tea party day. This week for the first time we were indoors. We were six in number and well spaced, so within the rules. We were at Margaret’s and she always has an interesting variety of tea loaf to share with us.
