Robbie again

This will be my last blip of Robbie. It was clear to me that he needed to be put to sleep - bringing him home had at least shown me that - so it was arranged for the middle of the day. This picture is of Robbie in the cupboard where he had retreated to when he came home, and I think he looks quite relaxed, although he did get restless at times, despite pain medication. I was very grateful for being allowed to be with him when he was put to sleep - I had been afraid that might not have been possible because of Covid restrictions. My flat feels terribly lonely without him, as he isn't coming back this time.
