A bit of colour

We set off in the rain this morning to find the Japanese garden and maybe a red squirrel. The squirrels were being sensible and dreaming of nuts while curled up in their dreys so we had to be content with the garden. We walked there along the road but returned via a very nice path through the woods which was preferable to being splashed by cars. The weather did pick up this afternoon.
