Spire Silhouette
Day 196 of COVID-19 UK opening up and partial locking down again!
Granddaughter Amelia woke up about 4am but Mrs BB got her back to sleep until 7.15am when it was play-time for us all. Mid morning we were at the River Wye in Ross on Wye, Herefordshire, to feed the ducks and for her to visit the 'playground' she likes.
The sun was out and the birds flying around Ross church spire and folly, I took a few photo's and like this one as a silhouette with just a little bit of detail in the shadows showing.
On the way home Amelia fell asleep and I managed to carry her from the car to the sofa. We even dressed her for nursery and she dropped back asleep. Obviously us oldies have more energy!
Phoning my dad who lives near Penarth (Cardiff) this evening, he said they had a day of rain. The weather does seem to be a lot better here and possibly the reason the county is a fruit growing region?
