Car run needed.
I need to arrange an MOT soon and I had 3 warning lights on the dashboard - petrol low - easily solved; side light - visit to friendly and helpful mechanics - purchased and fitted for the price of a pint of lager; DPF light appeared yesterday and so a brisk run with high revs was required to clear that. I have that down to a fine art - a brisk run along the seafront and light usually extinguishes at about the same point. As a bonus I ran in to a brisk shower which gave my car a wash too. Light went out and I stopped on return journey to catch the light over the approaching high tide following on from the shower. The dark object in the corner is the hull of an upturned dinghy. I have had Lightroom for some time now and have just not got in to using it so I attempted a little dabble to bring out the shadows. This is going to be a work in progress but I have made a start!
Added note - it must be an optical illusion because it looks as though the horizon is dipping towards the right side but it is level according to the grid in LR. The slanting clouds from the receding storm and the slant of wave ripple must be causing the illusion. Try explaining that to a Camera Club judge!
