Almond Weir

The last time I was here it was high summer, and the river had a very different character from today when it was full after yesterday’s rain. The autumn colours are just getting going and the spray caught the sun. The extra is a different view of Cramond Island; the tide is higher than usual even though we were an hour after full tide.
