The bottom of an old lamppost...

It was a busy day but not really any photography opportunities until this one as it was getting dusk.
I did a two hour stint giving out ballot papers for the election. We were very quiet throughout.
Then I collected my correctly sized cotton Guernsey. Perfect fit and so soft and not scratchy.
In the evening was the first session of out Silver Guide training. Apart from the usual preliminaries we had a talk on the history of St Sampson and St Peter Port Harbours from a retired Harbourmaster. That was very interesting indeed!
Then a session on the wildflowers of Guernsey. That was OK but not riveting stuff.
