Ochil Hills

I was travelling back from work in East Lothian and stopped just outside the village of Kinbuck on the back road from the A9 to Braco. This is looking eastwards to the Ochils and the light was a bit flat. I resisted the temptation to muck about with contrast & contented myself to cropping & playing about with frames. Not a great effort but sometimes the day simply doesn't afford much opportunity.

I have no idea what the dark outlined area on the left of the photo might be - anyone have any ideas??
