Hurrah!

Our neighbours son planted the seed over 40 years ago. The tree grew vigorously and it's roots invaded our flower bed close to the tree. And it gave far too much shade over the bed and our greenhouse. But neighbour had promised not to take it down - even though son has long since left home.
However the house was recently sold and new owner not liking the tree got tree surgeons in. They did a good, and careful, job. So we rejoice: hurrah!!
