Brompton Beck Ford

Yesterday I introduced you to Willow Beck, a stream that runs through Romanby. Romanby is firmly part of the southern end of Northallerton.

Brompton is a pretty village just north of Northallerton. Recent housing developments on its southern edge means it is just a plough's width from being swallowed up as a Northallerton suburb. In many ways it already is.

It is in the local Methodist Church the Northallerton Camera Club meets but for restrictions at the moment. I look forward to meetings.

Yesterday WackyWebs asked me if there was a Ford, well here it is. Unlike the one we know in Eynsford, this one vehicles have to use or take a detour. Currently, it isn't very high but I have seen images of the local houses getting flooded! 

In extras, you can see how high the floods can come. We briefly considered buying the white house next in the extra until we saw the flood maps...
