The fairy's kettle

Properly known as The Hoke. The limestone gorge on the edge of Caldbeck has some impressive industrial archaeology and The Hoke- which is basically a waterfall where the force of the water has sculpted the soft rock. The effect can be quite dramatic and results in the place being given a number of fanciful names.
