A noble owl in ermine.

A train ride through a blizzard brought us to the fashionable village of Gstaad today. The main street was lined with upmarket shops boasting eye-wateringly expensive clothes, bags and shoes. This ermine clad owl was guarding the door of a smart boutique, and a very imposing sight he made. Fortunately for me, Snap1t was busy with her photographs and did not have time to shop. But we did indulge in an amazing hot chocolate with thick whipped cream, the best so far on our Swiss adventure.
