My big mistake

I usually do a bit of research before I buy a plant I’ve never seen before. However, I saw this plant in a garden I visited three years ago and fell in love with the red and green berries. I bought a plant, planted it in the wrong place and it’s now six feet tall. The pretty berries turn black, it’s poisonous and apparently difficult to get rid of. It’s called American Pokeweed and my mission is to get rid of it.
