First Christmas present purchased for my daughter, ordered these bad boys online and they were delivered today. New coronavirus restrictions announced by First Minister, all pubs and restaurants in my area to close for 16 days.

Given his untimely death yesterday my album of the day is "Van Halen" the 1978 debut album from Eddie Van Halen. A classically trained pianist and technically gifted guitarist with his trademark fingertapping, slides and fancy harmonics, this pedal to the metal "hair rock" wasn't my thing but worth a listen for his guitar skills alone, alternatively listen to "Beat It" by Michael Jackson.
