Speirs Wharf

There are a number of areas in and around Glasgow where you can join the tow path of the Forth and Clyde Canal.

Today we took a bus (my first journey since March) and then after having coffee in the St Enoch Centre we took the subway from St Enoch up to Cowcaddens. From there we climbed the steps up to Speirs Wharf where we began our walk.

A very popular area for cyclists, joggers and people who were walking much more quickly than we were so there was quite a bit of standing to the side to let the speedy pass.
