Wide Wednesday: To The Lighthouse

We made the most of the fine weather this morning with a walk along the estuary of the River Brue and along the seafront and beach at Burnham-on-Sea, as far as the lighthouse in the blip here. Burnham and Berrow golf course is behind the dunes onthe right and that's the island of Steepholme in the Bristol Channel behind the lighthouse with the coast of Wales in the distance.

A lot of people were doing the same: although they're a long way in the distance, there are definitely some people in the scene for today's challenge :)

We reckoned we'd earned an all day breakfast sandwich and a slice of homemade bread pudding (the best I've tasted other than my Mum's) from the excellent mobile diner inthe car park when we'd finished, even if we did put most of the calories we might have lost back on!
