Spider with lunch

I have been amazed by the numbers of daddy long legs' legs sitting on window ledges and similar places.  Spiders have been feasting and leaving the inedible yet I thought it was daddy long legs that feasted on spiders..  Perhaps it is only the small spiders that get eaten.  Spent the best part of the day in a warm greenhouse bunching up the lavender that I pruned a few days ago.  What a gorgeous smell it had - we have all been suffering from smoke inhalation from the scrap metal inferno down at the Avonmouth Docks.  The firemen finally got the fire under control yesterday.
