Beauty in a Jug

Gorgeous bouquet in a jug arrived today from Julia's godparents, beauty for now, and beauty to use later. 

Delicious cheese scones, made by Beth, for lunch. 

And West African peanut chicken for dinner, recipe from the legend that is Velma. Plus pavlova with raspberries.

Gratefuls:
- Julia coping so well with all the discomfort
- Tom washing up so I can Blip
- sunshine that's flooded in every single day so far (plus plenty of rain)

And now I need to go finish reading The Silver Chair aloud... CS Lewis certainly knew how to end his chapters so you can't wait to read the next one.
