Feeding frenzy.

After I filled the feeders this morning the birds came piling in.  It is a while since we had four Tree Sparrows at the same time.  There was a lot of bickering for perches.

An ideal opportunity to try for some more birds in flight shots.  The light was reasonably good so there wasn't too much noise in the shot.  (Old habits die hard I almost called it grain).  Of the shots I took I liked this one with the Goldfinch (Carduelis carduelis). having to come to a sudden reversal in mid air as no other bird was going to be intimidated off its perch.
