Blowing in the wind...
A morning pottering around the house, followed by lunch, then a drive to Loch Venachar this afternoon to blow away the cobwebs. And boy were they blown away!
There was a very stiff breeze coming up the loch and typically the rain started just as I wanted to take photos. This windsurfer was a tiny dot on the other side of the water and literally within seconds was whizzing past us, turning and heading back. What a skill to keep upright and how exhilarating that must feel.
The autumn colours are not at full strength yet so more trips required to try and catch them before the trees are bare.
Driving home we listened to our First Minister announcing the latest Covid restrictions. We don't live within the restricted health boards but family and friends do so not going to be able to see them at all, even outside, until 26th October.
Although NS was delivering unwelcome news, her clarity, reasoning and empathy put Boris to shame.
Home to give Alan a swim then dinner of beef stew and dumplings. A sure sign that Autumn has arrived :-))
Now rushing to get my online Tesco order completed before the deadline. Hope to be back for a blip catch up after that :-))
