Slightly marked

...... but still looking lovely.

It’s been a gorgeous day. At lunchtime I just stood in the garden for a while and enjoyed the day.

In between meetings I’ve been making some sourdough bread. As I mainly make the bread for my son I give him the choice of which one to make. This week he chose the challah. It’s an enriched dough so very different to anything else I’ve made. In between meetings I’ve kneaded it. The loaf is made from six strands and plaited. That was fun.

I’ll show you what it looks like tomorrow.
