Rumours that we might have a five mile travel restrictions reintroduced prompted us to take the opportunity to drive further and then walk to the vast beach at Ravensheugh.    It was comparatively busy on the 2 km beach as we counted 17 people altogether, some of whom said they were also fearing that it could be their last opportunity.  Two of them are just visible in the distance.
