Black Headed Gull in winter plumage.
Returned to Stanley Park today only this time I concentrated on the wildlife rather than the architecture. Most frustrating afternoon. There were a pair of Great Crested Grebes displaying in the middle of the lake and I couldnt get close enough to them to get a decent photograph. Even with my 100-400 lens on a crop camera I was at the limit of usable range. The best I could get can be seen HERE
