Contrast

In contrast to yesterday's high-key lilac, today I bring you a low-key poppy. Such a delicate flower, but managing to stand up to the buffeting today's weather has been giving it.

I've been working on my Year 8 exam paper today. I managed to sneak out at recess to take some photos of the poppies and tree ferns at the Village Green before the wind blows them away!

Father-in-law is still in hospital. Having heart surgery today. The information is frustratingly scarce. EDIT: Father-in-law is home! It just happened suddenly. MrB has gone to find out how he’s doing.
