Mushroom in my fountain

I found this old piece of dried maitake mushroom in my fridge and stuck it in my fountain. It just kind of blended into the fountain. My fountain that is empty of water because sometimes I don't want to hear it. It's a lovely sound but sometimes it seems so loud. I wonder if it has to do with my ear ringing that has gotten worse. I see a doctor for it on Friday.
