A Rub for Luck #2

I first blipped Sir Fran in September 2011 if you have time for a quick peak - look at the difference .

He's just had a complete makeover, I rather liked the green of the oxidised bronze, but he does look much better now. I'm glad that the restoration has kept the burnished condition of his shoe, which is due to the tradition of rubbing his foot for luck when passing. Just as I took the photo this wee lassie ran up and kindly demonstrated - how lucky was that : ) Have a wonderful weekend, whatever you're doing!
