Rook With A Book
We went into Fowey today for lunch overlooking the river and a wander around. I loved this sculpture on the quayside called Rook With A Book. It’s by Thrussells of Bodmin and is a tribute to Fowey’s famous resident, the great Daphne de Maurier, who used to live near the rookery and, of course, wrote The Birds, among other things. Her house, that her son still lives in, will be in Extras later (when I’ve uploaded it from my camera).
