Still flowering

Amazingly, after all the awful weather at the weekend, the sweetpeas are still flowering and looking good. Every time I cut them, I dear it will be the last!

I've found some gladioli in flower too. I've never grown them before but I do love the colours and the brightness of them. Unfortunately, I decided they would look good in a shady bit of border, but didn't realise they needed sunshine!  The ones I tried were a slightly dwarf variety and they have survived the wind perfectly. Definitely worth trying again, in a sunny spot!
