Today's been a bit of a run around day. This morning I rearranged the NHS flu vaccine appointments I'd made for mum and Colin. I then managed to book paid for flu vaccine appointments at a nearby chemist for Ali, Stuart and Jon. I felt very effective.
There was a Cursillo Ultreya Meeting on Zoom this afternoon which I was coordinating. It's lovely to see lots of people on screen with no masks in sight and to hear how things are going for everyone. So many people are busy doing things they wouldn't have dreamed of before the Pandemic. It's good to hear about them too. We are all Zoom experts now too.
Colin and I went for a walk along the cycle track this afternoon, lots of really good brambles there still and this apple tree. All you need for bramble and apple jelly... just have to buy the sugar. The council have been out with their mowers and trimmers. The path is wider by almost a metre on each side which makes life much easier especially now the nettles have gone. It's opened the whole thing up really well. See extra.
We got caught in a ridiculously heavy shower of hailstones and had to run the last few hundred metres home. Got absolutely drenched!
Bridge this evening so an early dinner for us.
Keep safe everybody.
